Design and Technology
Bamburgh Class have been learning about where fruit comes from and how it arrives in our shops. 
Together we discussed and gathered data on our favourite fruits. Then we made our own pictograms using the computer with the data we had collected.
In design and technology we designed our own fruit kebab, thinking about pattern, flavour and texture.  Next, we learnt how to use a knife safely using a bridge position and a claw position; then we cut the fruits carefully on a chopping board and put the fruit carefully onto a bamboo skewer following our designs.
Finally, everyone had the chance to eat and try the delicious fruit kebabs! 
 
 
 
VE Day - 8th May 2025
 
Bamburgh class had great fun preparing and celebrating VE Day.
We made hats and bunting to decorate our class and outside. We had a fabulous time at our street party with  Alnwick class and Preschool. Then we played games in our crews on the field. We also made mini Spitfire planes to test how they would fly!
